Mar Thoma Residential School was founded in 1974 by the Mar Thoma Educational Agency, Tiruvalla, Kerala, India, which is a charitable body registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955. The Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Church is the Patron of the Society.
